Corte dei Granai by Raro Rooms

Corte dei Granai is an elegant residence created from ancient 17th century Salento granaries.

The typical Salento architecture is evident in the Lecce stone vaults and the internal arches, while the furnishings combine traditional details and modern comforts.

​The overall atmosphere is refined and relaxing: the internal courtyard, with a heated outdoor pool and solarium area (sunbeds and umbrellas), invites you to have fun and relax.

The structure also has a breakfast room (in stone), rustic tavern, internal lounge/bar and equipped terraces.

Common Areas

The property has several common areas designed to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.

- Main Entrance: Upon entering, guests are welcomed into a large space, featuring air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, smoke detectors and a TV.

- Breakfast Room: In this space, a rich continental breakfast is served every morning, where you can also enjoy local and traditional specialties.

- Breakfast will be served from 8:00 to 10:00.

- Dining Room: The dining room is equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, CO₂ and smoke detectors, a Hi-Fi stereo system and a TV.

- Solarium: Near the swimming pool there is an area dedicated to relaxation, with tables and chairs.

- SPA: Corte dei Granai has a brand new SPA, with the possibility of including wellness programs available on site upon request.

- Pool: Outside there is the Corte swimming pool with a hot tub and waterfalls ideal for relaxing in the open air, with deckchairs and sun loungers.

Meeting Room 

Corte dei Granai has a meeting room that can accommodate up to 40 seats, equipped with everything you need such as microphones and a large television useful for projecting and showing presentations to the audience.

Swimming Pool

Beach and Pool Information and Rules:

- Children under 18 must always be supervised by an adult when in the vicinity of the pool. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that young children do not approach the water without an adult.

- Non-swimmers or those with little experience must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.

- For the safety and comfort of all guests, please avoid diving, jumping into the pool, and running or jumping in the surrounding area.

- For your well-being, it is recommended not to swim within 1.5 hours of consuming food or alcohol.

SPA & Wellness

Set within evocative historic walls, our SPA is an environment entirely crafted in stone, where traditional Salento architecture meets modern well-being. A silent sanctuary designed to offer an exclusive and regenerating sensory experience.

Guests are kindly invited to check if SPA access and the relative Wellness Kit are included in their booking type or stay package.

At Corte dei Granai late check-in, even late at night, is always possible thanks to smart access (access to rooms with smartphone or code on keypad).

Self-Check In Procedure:

- After making the reservation, you will receive a communication (via email or whatsapp) with the instructions to complete the pre-check-in online (This step requires entering personal data and prepayment of the stay and the tourist tax).

Once the pre-check-in is completed, you will be provided with the credentials needed to access the property and your room (via email).

- The link to use a web app that acts as a digital key.

- Inside the page accessible at the link.

- The code to enter on the electronic lock keypad.

- Upon arrival, enter th code on the keypad at the main entrance to access the property.

- Repeat the same procedure to access your room.

You can use the same credentials to freely enter and exit the property and your room throughout your stay.

CAPINERA

The name Capinera, like all the rooms at Corte dei Granai, comes from the homonymous cereal typical of the Lecce area. The room is made almost entirely of stone, and is divided into two areas, a large living area and a private bathroom with shower. Suggestive and welcoming, with high vaults and equipped with every comfort including television and fan coil air conditioning, Capinera is suitable for couples looking for privacy and relaxation.

CICERELLA

La Cicerella is a double bedroom with characteristic peach-colored walls, and equipped with an element of pride for the Court, namely the base of the bathroom sink was obtained from a single block of Lecce stone carved in vertical bands, which make this room a unique example of local design. It is also equipped with air conditioning, television and private bathroom area.

DRUSILLA

The Drusilla room is one of the most elegant in Corte dei Granai, divided into several areas and equipped with a mezzanine, it has a hot tub and bathroom area on the ground floor, while the bedroom area is located in the upper part of the room. The room is embellished with a large staircase made, also in Lecce stone, and prints depicting the typical "pale di fico d'india", characteristic local fruits.

MAJORCA

The Majorca suite is made of stone and carefully furnished to be one of the most sought-after suites of the Court. In addition to all the comforts that the rooms have, it also has a private Jacuzzi tub located in the living area. Another characteristic element of the room is the bathroom sink, created inside a typical Baroque capital of Salento, rich in details and symbolism, to make your stay experience unique and unforgettable.

RUSSARDA

The Russarda room offers unique color combinations and furnishings, combining the typical straw yellow color of Lecce stone with the sage green color of the walls, creating a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The room can accommodate two to four people thanks to two additional beds on the mezzanine, reachable by crossing a corridor made of glass that makes the room unique and unforgettable. In addition to the private whirlpool tub located in the bathroom area, the Russarda has an enviable design element, namely the bathroom sink made entirely of Lecce stone depicting a typical Apulian rose window, which combines the tradition of craftsmanship with modern design.

The Timilia room, made entirely of Lecce stone, is furnished with care and refinement, making it comfortable and suitable for a relaxing stay. The use of warm lights combined with the color of the Lecce stone creates a suggestive and relaxing atmosphere. It has three beds, private bathroom with shower, television, fan coil air conditioning and all the comforts of the rooms of Corte dei Granai.

ARDITO

The Ardito room takes its name from an excellent variety of wheat, and like all the accommodations of the Court it is entirely made of Lecce stone, worked and treated to create the suggestive atmosphere typical of the Apulian landscapes, highlighting the natural colors of the stone. Equipped with television, air conditioning and private bathroom, the Ardito room is equipped with all the comforts for couples looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

DANTE

The Dante room is also made entirely of Lecce stone, furnished with care and refinement, has air conditioning (fan coil), minibar, safe and television, in addition to the splendid private terrace equipped with table, chairs and umbrella where you can spend unique and private moments in total relaxation.

IRIDE

The spacious and comfortable Iride room has high vaults in local stone as well as some design elements also in living and worked stone such as the bathroom sink. It has all the services of the Corte rooms, such as air conditioning and private shower, to which is added an open sauna in the room to make you experience a unique and unforgettable stay.

MAESTRALE

The Maestrale room is the only room that has the ancient sloping roofs made with typical local woven reeds. It is spread over two levels where the ground floor features the bathroom area, equipped with a private shower, and the living area equipped with a television and a comfortable sofa, while the upper floor features the sleeping area with a double bed. Large and spacious, the Maestrale has many typical elements of Apulian culture, in fact in addition to the sloping roof, and the predominant Lecce stone, it has references to the rose windows of typical Apulian churches.

SENATORE CAPPELLI

The Senatore Cappelli room, spacious and comfortable, has as its predominant color the straw yellow color of the Lecce stone. It has a bathroom area, with a relaxing shower and elements in worked stone, and a living area with a double bed and a hydromassage tub to guarantee fun and relaxation in an exclusive location.

Corte dei Grani is located in the middle between the Ionian and Adriatic coasts. The most important destinations on the Adriatic coast are the splendid city of Otranto and Torre dell’Orso, while for the Ionian coast we find Gallipoli and Porto Cesareo.

- Beaches with services: The property is 16 km from the Adriatic coast and 30 km from the Ionian coast. The most important seaside attractions are Baia dei Turchi (22 km), near Otranto, and Punta della Suina (40 km) near Gallipoli and Torre Lapillo (45 km)
